What a game the Stingrays had this week. The lads worked really hard at training on Wednesday and applied that in this week’s game.

A massive effort from them all, getting their tackles in, supporting each other both in defence and attack, they showed great discipline by not getting distracted by the ever-increasing score, they all put 100% in until the final whistle.

Whilst it really was a team effort special mention goes to our Man of the match, Archie who scored an impressive 7 tries (out of the 11). Additionally, Leon got Coaches Player this week, a result of the effort and self discipline he has demonstrated and we've seen improve over the the last 12 months. As we will be doing all this season, the match captain was handed on to the next in line, Lewis Withers. He gave it a good crack and got the support and respect from the team throughout the match.

This season conversions and penalties have been introduced and Tobias and Theo got 8 conversions between them which at times was in tricky conditions with the rain. A couple of areas to work on during the week ready for a match next week, and I am sure the same effort will continue.
