It is with deep regret that the Club announces the passing of Michael 'Mike' Reed.

It is with deep regret that the Club announces the passing of Michael 'Mike' Reed, writes Alan Foulger, with thanks to Colin Smith for the following information:

MICHAEL REED
24/10/57 to 09/03/25

Mike passed away peacefully in QA Hospital after a 5 year battle against cancer.

Mike held the post of Mini Youth fixture/referee secretary for many years in the 90's and made the effort to attend the Twickenham fixture meeting, where he got the club games against Bath, London Irish, Richmond and other big named clubs.
Afterwards, he remained a full member and attended many a league lunch and England games before he was diagnosed late 2019.

He travelled extensively to see England and the Lions play with his great friends Colin Smith and Patricia Smith-Roche. He was also a keen fisherman and golfer. He is survived by his daughter Carlene and son Philip, who played rugby in our Colts team.
He was a very jovial friend, family man, a club stalwart and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Funeral details will be published when known.

Rest in Peace.
