On a beautiful morning for rugby, the Jaguars took to the field for another great training session, despite depleted numbers following Friday night’s extravaganza!
The focus of the session was on support play and quick passing, with the players working hard to improve their movement and teamwork. To reinforce the importance of these skills, the team watched an awesome team try scored by the Colts last week. Most players quickly grasped the need to spread out and pass swiftly, and this will remain a key focus as the squad prepares for the North Dorset Festival in two weeks.
A massive well done to Jessie, who was named Jaguar of the Week for her fantastic TREDS and tireless effort throughout the session. Charlie, Savanna, and Lucas also received Clubman awards for their voluntary help in clearing up after others and keeping the clubhouse tidy – proving that TREDS aren’t just for the pitch!
Special mentions also go to Lucas & Darcey, who were awarded Player of the Night on Friday, and Eslyn, who received the TREDS of the Night award from her coaches.
The Jaguars return to training at home this week as they gear up for their upcoming festivals. Go Jags!
